1. Nature of Our Services

Oropaz Trading, Inc. is a Georgia-based diamond wholesale business, as well as an appointment-only diamond and jewelry purchasing business.

Our website:

  • Does not facilitate online transactions

  • Does not make binding offers

  • Is used solely for information, communication, and appointment scheduling

All evaluations, offers, and purchases occur in person at a scheduled appointment.

2. Eligibility

To schedule an appointment or sell items to us, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older

  • Be the legal owner or authorized seller of the item(s)

  • Have the legal right to sell the item(s) free of liens, theft claims, or disputes

By scheduling an appointment, you represent and warrant that these conditions are met.

3. Appointments & Scheduling

  • Appointments are required for all evaluations

  • Appointment requests are not guaranteed until confirmed by us

  • We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or decline appointments at our discretion

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

  • Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule

  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in refusal of future appointment

4. Item Information & Preliminary Review

Any photos, descriptions, or documents submitted online:

  • Are for preliminary review only

  • Are non-binding

  • Do not guarantee an offer or valuation

Final evaluations are based solely on in-person inspection, testing, and market conditions.

5. Evaluation & Offers

  • All offers are made in person

  • We are under no obligation to make an offer

  • Offers may change based on:

    • Authenticity verification

    • Condition and quality

    • Current market pricing

Acceptance of an offer is entirely voluntary.

6. Transactions & Payment

If an offer is accepted:

  • The transaction is completed in person

  • Payment method and timing are disclosed at the appointment, usually immediately

  • Payment may be subject to legally required holding or verification periods

No purchases or payments occur directly through the website.

7. Identity Verification & Georgia Legal Compliance

In compliance with Georgia law and secondhand goods regulations, we may require:

  • Two government-issued photo identification

  • Seller information and transaction records

  • Additional documentation as required by law

We may retain records and item information as required by applicable Georgia statutes and law enforcement regulations.

Failure to provide required information may result in refusal of service.

8. Office Security & Surveillance Notice

For the safety of clients, staff, and property:

  • Our premises are monitored by video surveillance

  • Audio recording is not used unless permitted by law

  • By entering our office, you consent to lawful video monitoring

Surveillance footage may be used for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance purposes.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit stolen, counterfeit, or misrepresented items

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Attempt fraud or identity misrepresentation

  • Disrupt operations or threaten staff

Violations may result in refusal of service and notification to appropriate authorities.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, logos, text, and images are the property of Oropaz Trading, Inc. and may not be copied or used without written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Online estimates or preliminary reviews

  • Appointment availability

  • Market value outcomes

  • Completion of any transaction

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Georgia law:

  • We are not liable for decisions based on preliminary information

  • We are not responsible for missed appointments or scheduling issues

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to you in the completed transaction giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oropaz Trading, Inc. from any claims arising from:

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Sale or attempted sale of unlawful items

  • False representations or ownership disputes

14. Dispute Resolution (Mediation & Arbitration)

Good Faith Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good faith negotiation.

Mediation

If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in Georgia.

Binding Arbitration

If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in Georgia.

You waive the right to participate in class actions or jury trials, except where prohibited by law.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service

  • Cancel appointments

  • Restrict website access at any time for lawful reasons

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to the website with an updated effective date.
